Behave: one step at a time
An action is a single piece of work with a finish line. Give it:
- a title and a line on how you’ll know it’s done
- what it’s related to: one of your goals, or general
- a priority, low, medium or high
- a due date and time, and reminders
- who it’s assigned to and who approves it, both you unless you choose a supporter
- who it’s shared with, so they can follow along
Break it down
Big action? Add subtasks and tick them off as you go. The action shows its progress, such as “2/5”, and finished subtasks sink to the bottom so the next step is always on top.
Never miss the moment
Every action card shows a live countdown, such as Due in 2 hours or 3 days overdue, so what’s urgent stands out. Reminders arrive as push notifications, from 1 minute to 7 days before the due time, and they cancel themselves once the action is done.
Work on it together
- Assign an action to a supporter. They can move it along (open, in progress, complete) and tick off subtasks. Only you can edit it.
- Discuss it in a comment thread with everyone on the action.
- Ask for sign-off. With an approver set, the action goes to them when you’re done (how approvals work).
Find what matters
Filter by status, priority, goal, assignee or approver. You can also filter by due date (overdue, today, tomorrow, this week, this month or a custom range) or search by title. The dashboard counts what’s overdue, due today, tomorrow and this week.
Free and Pro
The Free plan has 2 active actions, with one reminder each. B3 Pro makes actions unlimited, with up to five reminders each.
Questions about Actions
Does an action have to belong to a goal?
No. An action can be linked to one of your goals, or be a general one-off task.
Can someone else do an action for me?
Yes. Assign it to any of your supporters. They can update its status and tick off its subtasks, while you stay the only one who can edit it.
